I believe that’s the real challenge of moving forward and sometimes it’s also the reason why we can’t move on from others, because they remind us of the way that we used to be.
This poem came to me in a moment when I was thinking about death and the paradoxes of beginnings and endings.
The part “Everything that was simply becomes everything that is” was the first thing that I wrote and to be honest I don’t even think it makes sense grammatically, but it makes sense in a way that brings me comfort.
